School Closure Extended through April 8 for Students

On Monday, March 23, the PA Department of Education (PDE) announced that all schools in the commonwealth will remain closed for two additional weeks as a result of the COVID-19 response efforts. Under the new timeline, staff will be permitted to return to school on April 7.  Students would then return to school on April 9, unless the closure is extended.

Additionally, PDE has canceled this year’s PSSA, PASA, and Keystone State Assessments as well as the NOCTI and NIMS testing for students in career and technical education programs.

Our Grab-and-Go Meals will continue as currently scheduled, during the extended closure.

All school events and activities, including athletic contests, are cancelled when school is closed.
