Facility Use

All organizations, community groups, and businesses desiring to use school facilities should submit the applicable Application for Use of School Facilities to request approval.  Please see the policies and fee schedule below for additional details:

Please read the category descriptions below to determine which application is applicable to your organization:

CATEGORY A - School Sponsored:  An organization that is part of the school program including curricular and extracurricular student groups of the school district.

CATEGORY B - School Affiliated:  An organization that supports curricular and extracurricular programs that have been approved as per Policy 915, such as PTO’s, music parents, and boosters; also included are PreK­12 nonprofit educational entities such as Head Start, Career and Technology Schools or Intermediate Units that support district educational programs.  

CATEGORY C – Community/Nonfundraising Purposes: An organization that benefits the community, whose motive is not to raise funds, and is not charging a fee to participants. This category includes churches or religious organizations, clubs and athletic programs not operated by the Spring Cove School District, community non-profit organizations, etc.

CATEGORY D – Community/Fundraising Purposes: An organization that benefits the community, whose motive is to raise funds to support the general community welfare or is charging a fee to participants. This category includes churches or other religious organizations, clubs and athletic programs not operated by the Spring Cove School District, community organizations, etc. involved in fund raising or charging a participation or admission fee.

CATEGORY E – All Others: All other groups or individuals requesting use of school facilities that are not School Sponsored (Category A), School Affiliated (Category B), or a Community Non-Profit Organization (Category C or D). 

CATEGORY F – Government: All government entities requesting use of school facilities.
