Information for Athletes

Pre-Participation Athletic Forms will be completed online with Student Central. Every SCSD athlete (grades 7-12) will need a completed PIAA sports physical PRIOR to any athletic participation. Sections 1-5 of the PIAA sports physical form will be completed ONLINE by parents/guardians @ https://studentcentral.bigteams.com/

 Section 6 will need to be completed by an AME provider (MD, DO, PAC, CRNP, or SNP) ON OR AFTER May1st and then uploaded to their online profile created. 

**2025-2026 Winter & Spring Athletes going out for a 2nd or 3rd sport during the 2025-26 school year will ONLY need to complete the ONLINE SECTION 7 form (recertification by Parent/Guardian) if no injury or illness occurred during the Fall season.**

In addition to the PIAA physical, all athletes  will have to pay an athletic  registration fee of $50. Please make checks payable to SCSD and include name of student-athlete on the memo line. This fee covers the athlete for all sport(s) played during the 2025-2026 school year.

Once student athletes and the parents/guardians complete all three steps they are able to participate in a PIAA School Sponsored Sport.

1) Online athletic registration through StudentCentral on BigTeams platform

2) $50 Athletic Registration fee; checks made payable to SCSD; $50 check covers athletic participation for the entire 2025-2026 school year

**It is the responsibility of SCSD ATHLETES TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS for PIAA Sports Physicals. Free school sponsored sports physicals are typically offered in May. Check the athletic website in the spring for more information about school sponsored sports physicals.
