Information for Coaches

 
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR COACHES 
 
PIAA has MANDATED that ALL COACHES - Paid and Volunteer - must complete two mandatory training courses:  Fundamentals of Coaching and First Aid for Coaches.   Coaches have 2 years from their date of hire (date of volunteer approval) to complete these courses. Details regarding access to these courses can be obtained by the Athletic Director. 
 
ALL Paid and Volunteer Coaches are also required to complete the following courses ANNUALLY (prior to the first day of practice starting) per PDE Regulations: 
 
 
MANDATED REPORTER TRAINING is required every five years.  This training will be scheduled periodically by the Administration Office. You will be notified when you need to attend.  Questions can be directed to Karen Greenwood at 224-5124.
